Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Stratynex collects, how we use it, how we protect it, and the rights and choices users may have.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Stratynex collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit our websites or use our applications, content, education programs, mentorship workflows, communities, journaling, analytics, tools, and related services.
Stratynex is designed for trading education, process review, journaling, and analytics. We are not a broker, exchange, custodian, or trade execution platform. We do not need your brokerage password to provide the core service.
By using Stratynex, creating an account, or accepting this Privacy Policy, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use Stratynex and which features you choose to access.
Sensitive Financial Data: While we encourage detailed trade journaling, avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information such as full bank account numbers, credit card numbers, Social Security Numbers, brokerage account passwords, or API keys with write access. Only enter information necessary for your trading review process.
- Account information, including name, email address, login identifiers, password authentication data handled by our authentication provider, profile settings, plan status, and account preferences.
- Learning information, including programs, lessons, chapter progress, quiz attempts, reflections, completion status, watch history, and saved learning activity.
- Trading workflow information, including trade journal entries, screenshots, notes, tags, checklists, watchlists, calculator inputs, review workflows, and self-entered performance data.
- Mentorship and community information, including chart review requests, live room participation, Discord or community identifiers where integrated, comments, messages, support requests, and feedback.
- Payment and subscription information, including plan selections, billing status, transaction identifiers, and limited payment metadata. Full payment card details are generally handled by payment processors, not stored directly by Stratynex.
- Device and usage information, including IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, clicks, feature usage, session activity, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies and tracking information, including session cookies, preference cookies, analytics identifiers, advertising or attribution pixels where used, and similar technologies.
- AI and analytics information, including prompts, inputs, outputs, classifications, summaries, and derived insights generated from information you provide or actions you take on the platform.
3. Sources of information
We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of Stratynex, from service providers that help us operate the platform, and from integrations you authorize or use.
If you participate in a community, live session, Discord channel, support exchange, webinar, or mentorship workflow, information you provide in that environment may be collected and processed to provide the service, maintain records, enforce policies, and improve the product.
Brokerage and Trading Platform Integrations: If you choose to connect your brokerage account (e.g., TD Ameritrade, Interactive Brokers, Robinhood) through official APIs, we use read-only access to import trade history. We never store your brokerage password. You can revoke access at any time through your broker's settings. We comply with broker API terms and security requirements. Connection data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Connecting a brokerage is optional—you can manually log trades instead.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to operate, secure, support, personalize, measure, and improve Stratynex.
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, maintain sessions, and provide customer support.
- Provide lessons, learning progress, tools, calculators, templates, journal features, analytics, mentorship workflows, and community access.
- Process subscriptions, assign access plans, verify entitlements, prevent unauthorized sharing, and manage billing support.
- Generate analytics, summaries, progress views, review workflows, and AI-assisted outputs that help users inspect their own process.
- Send service communications, security notices, product updates, onboarding messages, and support responses.
- Send marketing communications where permitted, with opt-out options where required.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, account misuse, market manipulation, unauthorized scraping, and violations of our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and protect Stratynex, users, and the public.
- Improve platform quality through aggregate, de-identified, or statistical analysis.
5. AI analytics and automated processing
Stratynex may use AI-assisted or automated systems to classify, summarize, organize, score, or explain platform activity, journal entries, chart review data, learning progress, and tool inputs.
AI outputs are used for education, workflow support, and analytics. They are not financial advice, investment recommendations, trade signals, or trade execution instructions.
We may process user-provided inputs and generated outputs to maintain, secure, debug, evaluate, and improve AI features. Where practical, we use aggregation, de-identification, access controls, and vendor restrictions to reduce privacy risk.
AI features may use third-party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). Prompts containing your trade data are processed according to zero-retention agreements where available. We do not use your private journal entries to train public AI models or sell insights to third parties. AI-generated trade summaries, pattern recognition, and risk assessments are based solely on your own historical data.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Stratynex, maintain accounts, support subscriptions, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, secure the platform, and improve services.
Trade journal data, learning progress, reflections, quiz attempts, and analytics data may be retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, user-related data is intended to be deleted or de-identified from active systems unless retention is legally or operationally required.
Backups, logs, and archived records may persist for a limited period before deletion according to backup and security cycles.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, database security controls, monitoring, and service-provider restrictions.
No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for using a strong password, protecting your credentials, keeping devices secure, and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information. You may also have rights to opt out of certain marketing communications or targeted advertising.
You can update some account information from your profile, unsubscribe from marketing emails where an unsubscribe link is provided, and request account deletion where available.
To make a privacy request, contact privacy@stratynex.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or operational requirements.
Data Portability and Export: You can export your trade journal data, notes, tags, and analytics at any time in CSV or JSON format through your account settings. This allows you to keep personal backups of your trading history, transfer data if you choose to leave Stratynex, analyze your data with third-party tools, or maintain records for tax or regulatory purposes. Export functionality is available to all paid plan users. Free tier users may have limited export capabilities.
11. U.S. state and international notices
Users in some U.S. states, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Canada, and other jurisdictions may have additional privacy rights. We will handle requests according to applicable law.
For users in jurisdictions that require a legal basis, we process information based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent where required, legal obligations, and protection of rights and safety.
Stratynex may process and store information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those in your location.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Rights: California residents have the right to (1) know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell, (2) delete personal information (with exceptions for legal/security needs), (3) opt-out of the sale of personal information (Note: We do not sell your trade journal data), and (4) non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights. To exercise these rights, email privacy@stratynex.com with subject line "CCPA Request".
12. Children and minors
Stratynex is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. Trading and investment education involves financial concepts that require adult understanding and legal capacity.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@stratynex.com and we will delete the information.
In some jurisdictions, users between 18-21 may have additional restrictions on certain financial activities. You are responsible for complying with age-related trading restrictions in your location.
13. Marketing communications
We may send product updates, onboarding messages, educational resources, promotions, and newsletters. You can opt out of promotional email by using unsubscribe instructions or contacting us. We may still send transactional, security, legal, billing, and service-related messages.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify you by email, platform notice, or another reasonable method. The updated policy is effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated.
Your continued use of Stratynex after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated practices.
15. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@stratynex.com. If you have account support questions, use the support option available inside Stratynex.
